Our first workshop
It was our first time to hold the Workshop!!! Although I was not responsible for the backup work this round, I felt excited and looked forward to participating in it! Before the workshop, I knew my classmates had paid a lot of effort on the preparation. They even had to rehearse the rundown at the night before the day of workshop! Really appreciated them and I could see that they enjoyed it very much through their photos shared in our wechat group! ^^
Around 40 freshmen participated in our workshop! This number was encouraging!!!! Our MC---John and Wing were very "professional" and humorous! We had some ice-breaking games for them first. Then every group gave their presentation about different topics of servant leadership. My classmates were so creative that they all used games or survey to help our participants to understand "servant leadership", instead of just giving out the messages through giving speech. In the sharing time, one of the student even said that she was surprised with our form of presentation, it was totally different from the one she expected. She was impressed by the games and the messages behind them. I think that it is what we want---let the messages enter into their hearts!
Third Leap---Coffee
time!!!Another thing I'd like to share is our group's third LEAP! This time we aimed at serving the staff in campus! Around 9:30a.m. , we went to the FBA office and divided cups of coffee to them! At first, the receptionists looked very surprised. We had to explain a little about our service. Finally, they looked like released and received our coffee. HAAH~ They must have not been given presents from students before!
